Our story
EV Guard Oy was born out of a desire to solve one of the biggest challenges of electric vehicles – protecting the battery in demanding conditions. When we couldn't find a suitable solution on the market, we decided to develop one ourselves.
Our first cover was manufactured for our own use in 2023, and it soon became clear that the need for the product was much greater. Our company was founded in 2024, and we have decades of experience in the automotive industry and international business.
Our goal is to make electric driving safer and more efficient by providing high-quality protection solutions for both private drivers and service workshops.
EV Guard is a combination of Finnish engineering expertise, practical experience and passion for sustainable mobility. We are constantly developing new solutions so that more and more electric cars get the protection they deserve.

Why buy EV Guard battery protection?
Battery pack protection
EV Guard Oy manufactures and sells battery guards for hybrid and electric vehicles. These guards protect the battery pack, the fluid circulation and electrical connectors under the car. The battery guard can also be repaired or replaced at a much lower cost than replacing the battery case or battery.

Sustainability
The guard is made of partly recycled 3 mm marine aluminum and composite/insulation board which is made from recycled PET composite. This structure distributes the impact force so that the battery is not damaged. The battery cover is 100% recyclable. Each replaced damaged battery consumes natural resources, although some of it is recyclable.
Saving energy
In addition, the composite panel acts as insulation in winter, which increases the battery range and reduces the need for preheating when arriving at a charger. The energy required for interior heating is also reduced. Ventilation remains normal when the battery cover is installed.
